About DuckAbroad

Duckwyn is a small yellow duck, and he belongs to my son. For years he's been the most well-traveled member of our family...mostly asleep in a bed, occasionally smuggled into a backpack, and every so often the cause of a full-blown "where is Duckwyn?!" panic at an airport gate. Back home he has two best friends, twin penguins named Squibbles and Squabbles, and at bedtime I used to make up stories about the three of them off on adventures around the world.

I can't remember a single one of those stories now. They're just gone.

That's why DuckAbroad exists. We travel as a family...a good chunk of North America and Europe so far, with a long list still to come...and I kept running into the same problem: the moments that matter most are the ones that slip away first. The bedtime stories. What my kids blurted out standing in front of something ancient. The little café we loved and couldn't find again the next trip. Memories don't survive on their own. You have to catch them.

So we built a passport book that's always in your pocket, with Duckwyn as your kids' guide. Your kids collect a stamp at the landmarks they visit, earn stickers by answering trivia that teaches them why a place matters...because the signs never do, they're written for grown-ups...and build a passport of everywhere they've been that the whole family can look back on and share. It's the collectible book you always meant to pack and always left on the counter. Except this one you can't forget at home.
